Community Labs
Overview
Community Labs is a venture studio building applications and developer tooling on Arweave, a permanent data storage blockchain. Its portfolio spans products from consumer-facing apps to enterprise software.
When I joined the team, the website did not clearly convey the scale of opportunity enabled by Arweave or the breadth of work Community Labs was doing. I redesigned the site to unify the organization’s narrative, clearly showcase its ventures, and make it easier for builders and investors to understand how to engage. The result was a clearer, more credible public presence that reflected the ambition and scope of the work.
Venture Showcase
I designed the ventures page to give users a clear, macro-level view of Community Labs’ portfolio while supporting deeper exploration into each project. I used Webflow CMS to create a structured, scalable layout that makes it easy to add new ventures as the portfolio grows, while keeping the page clear and scannable for visitors. This approach balances clarity and depth, making the ecosystem easy to navigate for both builders and investors.
Glossary
The glossary page serves as a user-friendly knowledge base for people new to the Arweave ecosystem. I designed it to support both the main site and the blog by providing contextual definitions that enhance clarity and reduce friction when encountering specialized language. Built with Webflow CMS, the glossary is easy to expand as new terms emerge, while also creating authoritative, indexable pages that improve SEO and encourage external backlinking from ecosystem partners and educational content.
Newsletter
The newsletter page was designed as a central hub for Community Labs’ Ahead Newsletter, giving users an easy entry point to stay connected. I implemented a Mailchimp integration to streamline sign-ups and ensure that new subscribers are added directly to a segmented, automated mailing list. This integration not only improved the user experience with seamless interaction and validation feedback, but also helped the team grow and nurture an engaged audience over time.
